Hearken

March 17, 2006

iTunes makes things that were old new again. Albums that I once owned — and still think of myself as owning — are slowly being replaced. So far this year, I’ve bought:

VAST, Visual Audio Sensory Theater
Lent mine to somebody (Wagner?) and have since lost it. This is actually the second time I’ve bought “Touched” off of iTunes, too. Why I didn’t buy the whole damn album two years ago, I don’t know.

VAST, Music For People
Never had my own copy of this.

Nine Inch Nails, Pretty Hate Machine
Would you believe I only had this on casette?

Tarkio, Omnibus
Colin Meloy’s “college band,” though they sound pretty complete. These are mostly new songs to me, but they are not new songs.

Good stuff, all.
