A Bullet in France

August 11, 2005

Further evidence that Thom Chrastka has good taste and a radar for the artistically bizarre: Check out this Jules Verne-inspired performance art piece, complete with a passenger-carrying artillery shell and a visit from the Sultan of India atop his time-traveling elephant. You’ve got photos, movies and a giant freakin marionette. It’s weird and wonderful.

Be sure to check out the second page, too, by clicking the link at the bottom of the first page. And if you read French (or whatever the hell that is), let me know what it says, eh?
